Job Overview

The role of Accounts Payable Officer is pivotal in maintaining the seamless operation of our finance department.

This position requires an individual with a keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills to process and code invoices accurately, reconcile supplier statements, and manage discrepancies efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently process and code invoices.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and effectively manage discrepancies.
  • Ensure timely completion of payment runs.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve payment issues.
  • Monitor accounts payable inbox and respond promptly to queries.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable or similar roles.
  • In-depth understanding of end-to-end Accounts Payable processes.
  • Proficiency in tier one accounting software such as SAP, Xero, or MYOB.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
