About this Opportunity:

We are currently recruiting an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our corporate Group Finance team on a temporary full-time basis for up to 12 weeks.

This role is based at Wacol and reports directly to the Assistant Treasurer. The key responsibility of this role is to deliver on a system upgrade initiative that will significantly improve the efficiency of the Accounts Payable team.

This opportunity will suit a goal-focused, adaptable individual who enjoys working autonomously on repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all invoices are fully and correctly read by the OCR system.
  • Maintain precise records as evidence when training of OCR is complete and identify any issues that need to be rectified.
  • Process all invoices within specified timelines ensuring appropriate authorities are in place.

About You:

You should have previous experience in a similar high-volume Accounts Payable role.

Excellent attention to detail, particularly working in a fast-paced environment, is also essential.

Ability to take ownership and deliver on tasks within agreed parameters is required.

Motivated, analytical thinker keen to contribute and exceptional ability to prioritise and multi-task are valuable assets.
