Job Title:

Compassionate Care Provider

As a Compassionate Care Provider, you will provide exceptional care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. You will work closely with the care team to deliver high-quality personal care services, including assistance with daily living activities, grooming, and mobility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide and/or assist participants with personal care, including toileting, meal preparation, showering, and sponging.
  • Support participant-centred approach when providing care, promoting independence and autonomy.
  • Protect and respect the privacy, confidentiality, and rights of participants.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and boundaries, adhering to policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Cert III or Cert IV Individual Support/Ageing Support/Community Service (or equivalent).
  • National Police/Criminal Check.
  • Infection control and hand hygiene training certificates.
  • Competency in manual handling.
  • Immunisation Record with influenza and Covid-19 vaccinations.
