Job Overview

The Commercial Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving the commercial success of our global online sports betting business across key markets. This position requires an individual with strong analytical skills, market insight, and the ability to deliver actionable insights from industry data.

This role involves direct support for commercial negotiations, licensing efforts, regulatory submissions, and decision-making through robust market research, customer analysis, industry benchmarking, and growth forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive market research on consumer behavior, industry trends, and regulatory landscapes across primary markets (Australia, USA, UK) and expansion targets.
  2. Analyze market dynamics, develop models, and project revenue growth opportunities.
  3. Support new product development and market entry initiatives through feasibility studies and market-fit analysis.
  4. Review and summarize relevant industry publications, analyst reports, and economic data.
  5. Compile evidence and research for license applications and regulatory submissions.
  6. Provide analytical support to the commercial team, including performance dashboards, KPI tracking, and ROI analyses.
  7. Assist in reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, including supplier performance, contract renewals, service levels, and costs analysis.
Skill Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, law, data analytics, finance, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to translate complex data into concise insights.
  • Strong research and data collation capabilities with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with the online sports betting industry and its commercial frameworks.
  • Proficiency in data storage and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Quicksight, Excel, PowerPoint).
