About the Role

This is a temporary position to cover an existing role while the incumbent is on maternity leave.

The contract will be for 8 months with the possibility of extension for a further 4 months.

You will join a dynamic leadership team driving growth and expansion across the Glenelg region.

As the Manager, you will oversee the year-round Portland Leisure & Aquatic Centre as well as 3 seasonal pools.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Leading a complex business operation
  • Developing operational plans
  • Supporting facility managers and staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Achieving positive financial performance and contract objectives

You will develop relationships with the community, local council partners and stakeholders to drive success through engagement and development of your team.

This role requires a commitment to ethical practices, fostering strong team motivation and upholding company values, contributing to a positive work culture across the region.

To be considered for this role, you should be a seasoned professional manager with extensive experience in commercial/business and contract management, preferably from within the leisure, fitness, aquatic or facility management sector.
