About this role

We're seeking a seasoned HR professional to join our dynamic environment. As part of Australia's largest public health pathology, forensic, and analytical science service, you'll play a key role in supporting both the health and justice systems of New South Wales.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your generalist HR skills, working closely with operational leaders to provide strategic and operational HR support across a range of initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing HR advice and coaching to support managers and staff.
  • Developing and implementing HR strategies to support business objectives.
  • Managing employee relations, including conflict resolution and grievances.
  • Administering HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in Human Resources Management/Industrial Relations or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and NSW Health payroll/HRIS system.
  • Knowledge of Award, payroll, and employee contract matters as they relate to NSW Health.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers through highly developed interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • A sound understanding of strategic and operational human resources and employee relations.
