Job Description

As a Human Resources Consultant, you will play a vital role in supporting health and justice systems. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your generalist HR skills in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities include providing a diverse range of Human Resource (HR) functions, including general advice, coaching, and consultancy services to support managers and staff.

You will also be responsible for workforce planning, employee relations, and strategic human resources initiatives.

  • Working closely with operational leaders to provide HR support across a broad range of initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Appropriate qualifications and/or experience in Human Resources Management/Industrial Relations or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and NSW Health payroll/HRIS system.
  • Knowledge and competence in Award, payroll, and employee contract matters related to NSW Health.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers through highly developed interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
