At Windermere Child and Family Services, we are committed to providing dedicated support to individuals and families affected by trauma and disaster. Our Recovery Support Worker role is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the community.

About the Role

As a Recovery Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing intake assessments, care plan development, referrals, and advocacy for consumers across Victoria. You will work remotely and from our Head Office in Narre Warren, Pakenham, Traralgon, Bairnsdale, or Box Hill.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct intake assessments and develop care plans for consumers
  • Provide referrals and advocacy for consumers
  • Work collaboratively with other services and agencies to support consumers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with consumers, families, and community groups
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work or relevant equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a trauma-related program or similar field
  • Case management, intake, and assessment experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and after hours as required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build strong professional relationships
