Job Description

The Faculty of Arts at Macquarie University is seeking a skilled Project Officer to support the administration of innovative projects that share the institution's latest research in education.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with academic leadership and staff within the Macquarie School of Education to support various projects and initiatives for the Academy.

  • Support the delivery of projects and initiatives to achieve operational and strategic goals
  • Plan and provide support for projects and initiatives, including planning, review, data collection and analysis, and reports
  • Coordinate project administration, including meetings, minute taking, action management, and project status reporting
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced
  • Sound stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders
