About the Opportunity

Career opportunities abound in our rapidly evolving energy sector, and we're seeking a seasoned planning professional to spearhead our Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission project.

As Lead Planning Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing approvals, ensuring compliance, and driving delivery of this high-profile project. You'll lead a small team of dedicated professionals, contribute to policy development, and represent our organization with councils, stakeholders, and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads the planning and environment team for the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project
  • Oversees approvals and compliance management
  • Collaborates with senior leaders, contractors, and government agencies
  • Mentors and supports a small team
  • Contributes to policy development and represents the organization with councils, stakeholders, and the wider community

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in planning, environmental studies, law, linear infrastructure development, renewable energy generation, and/or other relevant disciplines
  • Current Australian Driver's license and willingness to travel
