About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Case Worker to join our team in the Domestic and Family Violence space. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with women and children who are experiencing domestic and family violence, providing them with the support and resources they need to stay safe and rebuild their lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a complex caseload of clients, providing individualized support and case management services to women and children experiencing domestic and family violence.
  • Develop and implement safety strategies and support plans for clients, in collaboration with other service providers and stakeholders.
  • Assess and approve brokerage expenditure to provide security upgrades for clients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Participate in local Safety Action Management (SAM) meetings, contributing to the development of strategies to prevent and respond to domestic and family violence.
  • Maintain and grow key stakeholder relationships in the community, ensuring effective collaboration and referral pathways.
Requirements
  • Experience working in the Family and Domestic Violence space, or strong knowledge of working with women and children experiencing DFV.
  • Qualifications in community services, case work, or a related field.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong administrative skills, with a proactive approach to managing complex caseloads and workflows.
  • Ability to work from the office and have a valid driver's license.
