About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our multidisciplinary team at headspace Early Psychosis.

In this full-time, ongoing role, you will provide clinical and operational leadership to a team of dedicated clinicians and specialist workers.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care for young people aged 12 to 25 who are experiencing or at risk of developing psychosis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to the Continuing Care and Functional Recovery Teams
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive clinical governance and uphold Orygen model standards
  • Collaborate with the Meadowbrook Early Psychosis Hub for seamless service delivery

You will work closely with our consultant psychiatrist and leadership team to achieve these goals.

About the Teams You Will Lead

You will have the opportunity to lead three teams:

  • The Continuing Care Team provides case management and care coordination for young people with complex needs.
  • The Functional Recovery Team delivers innovative group programs and individual recovery-focused support.
  • Specialist Services include peer support, family work, and vocational/education coordination within a collaborative framework.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
  • Proven leadership experience in multidisciplinary clinical settings
  • A deep understanding of youth development and mental health challenges
  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and time management abilities
  • A collaborative spirit and a passion for building high-performing teams
