ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a confident, motivated Team Leader with strong Specialist Clinic experience to lead our front office team (of 4) working a 9 day fortnight@7.5 hours per day (67 hours per fortnight).
This position is based in Spring Hill.
No parking provided but close to Central Station and the bus network.
Previous medical secretary experience is essential, with a proven track record working within a busy and dynamic practice.
Obstetric and Gynaecology experience would be a bonusWe are looking for a motivated, dynamic person, with experience in exceptional customer service delivery who thrives in working in an ever-changing environment.

The flexibility to work varied and additional hours as required from time to time to cover staff absences and leave is essential.
Generally, the hours of this role are 7.45am-3.45pm.
(Relief rarely required on a Saturday morning).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead and support our administration team (3 staff)Oversee day-to-day front desk operations and patient flow ensuring high standards of patient service Medical Secretarial duties including private account billing, Medicare and DVA billing Manage rosters and staff training and development Social Media experience an advantage Fostering professional working relationships with team members, patients and medical staff (there are 4 Clinicians utilising these rooms).
Fostering relationships with external stakeholders (Hospitals, other Specialist practices and referrers).
KEY CRITERIAMin 3 years Senior Medical Secretarial experience Staff management experience including training and rostering Sound knowledge of medical software, preferably Genie and proficient computer skills with sound knowledge of Microsoft programs (adhoc Dictaphone typing required).
A willingness to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task is a must.
A positive attitude delivering compassionate care as part of a multidisciplinary health care team.
