Our organization provides essential support to adults with physical and intellectual disabilities in various settings. We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our team as Support Workers.
The role involves providing hands-on assistance with daily living tasks, including personal care and household chores. You will also facilitate participation in community activities and lifestyle programs, working collaboratively with our team to develop and implement individualized plans. To succeed in this position, you will need relevant certifications, a current driver's license, and a reliable vehicle.
Responsibilities:- Personal Care Support: Assist adults with physical and intellectual disabilities with personal care tasks, ensuring their dignity and well-being.
- Domestic Assistance: Help with household chores, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients.
- Community Engagement: Facilitate participation in community activities and lifestyle programs, promoting social inclusion and enjoyment.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with our team to develop and implement individualized plans, maintaining open communication with clients and family members.
- Ongoing Development: Engage in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring best practices in disability support.
