As a skilled clinician, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care to individuals undergoing dialysis treatment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of expert clinical services and enhance your skills and knowledge.

About the Role

You will be responsible for implementing safe and effective treatment plans for patients on dialysis, ensuring optimal outcomes and quality of life. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Educating patients and healthcare staff on peritoneal and haemodialysis techniques
  • Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care as needed
  • Serving as a key point of contact for patients, offering guidance and support throughout their therapy

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will also be expected to:

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and education to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient interactions and treatment plans
Your Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A current nursing registration with the relevant authority
  • A post-registration qualification in renal nursing or working towards same
  • Minimum 24 months previous experience in renal nursing and/or experience with peritoneal dialysis essential
  • Minimum 12 months experience in haemodialysis desired
