Housing and Contract Management Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Housing and Contract Manager. This role will be responsible for supporting the formulation and execution of strategic and operational plans to manage the National Immigration Support Services (NISS) housing portfolio.
The successful candidate will be a single, senior point of contact in relation to contract management, housing management, performance, and delivery. They will support NISS programs to deliver services in line with contractual requirements, policy, and procedures, and provide internal support to teams to understand contractual requirements and opportunities.
About the RoleThis is a permanent, full-time position that can be based at our offices in Melbourne or Sydney, with flexibility to work from home. Interstate travel will be required.
The purpose of this role is to lead a team that supports NISS to ensure housing portfolio compliance, proactively identifies, responds to, and resolves property and housing matters.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support a team to achieve business plan outcomes and other organisational programs and initiatives while demonstrating Life Without Barriers' values.
- Monitor, coach, support, motivate, and develop team members to enable them to deliver to the best of their ability.
- Provide leadership in developing and implementing a culture of service excellence, working to implement and embed strategies needed to bring about lasting improvements across the organisation in CYF services.
The successful candidate will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in fields such as business, property, project management, or related discipline.
- Sound knowledge of property management principles, policies, procedures, and practices, and current issues.
- Proven experience in building and managing relationships, conducting complex negotiations with key stakeholders from government agencies, suppliers, and NGOs.
