As a Principal Engineer at Greenstone Financial Services, you will play a crucial role in driving the modernisation of our core systems, transforming them from a legacy architecture to a cutting-edge, cloud-based platform using Amazon Web Services (AWS).

This opportunity requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of modern software engineering practices. You will work closely with the Head of Engineering to set the technical direction, elevate engineering standards, and ensure a seamless transition to a more secure, scalable, efficient, and agile technology stack.

You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our Product Engineering organisation, driving innovation and experimentation across the team.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • No less than 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of leading large-scale modernisation projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of AWS cloud services and ecosystem.
  • A strong understanding of modern architecture patterns, such as cloud-native, microservices, serverless computing, and containerisation.
  • Proficiency in various programming languages and technologies relevant to cloud-based development.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Our Offer:

  • A highly competitive salary range of $180,000 - $220,000 per annum.
