About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for identifying, researching, evaluating, and selecting suppliers that meet our organisation's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, with experience in purchasing, inventory control, contracts, negotiation, supply management, and supplier relationships. You will also possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously and think outside the square.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing and procuring goods and services from a range of suppliers
  • Negotiating and managing contracts, including pricing agreements and service level agreements
  • Managing the procurement process, including RFQs and supplier onboarding
  • Ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering, Materials Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 8+ years of related procurement experience
  • Negotation, supply management, supplier relationships, basics of Accounting, and tracking budget expenses
  • Effective proven written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and think outside the square
  • Results-focused
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Proven Microsoft suite skills
