Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to lead the development and implementation of our supplier management strategy. As a Procurement Specialist, you will work closely with various stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, driving business results through effective sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans that align with business objectives, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders, fostering a culture of collaboration and transparency.
  • Source and procure goods and services, negotiating contracts and pricing agreements that meet business needs while minimizing risk.
  • Implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives, analyzing data to inform procurement decisions and drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on procurement strategies, goals, and metrics.

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement or a related field, preferably with a focus on strategic sourcing and supplier management.
  • Proven track record of achieving significant cost savings and process improvements through procurement efforts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data and make informed procurement decisions.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
