The After-hours Nurse Manager Grade 3 role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for experienced nurse leaders to lead and oversee operational management after hours. As a member of the Eastern Suburbs Mental Health Service, you will provide professional guidance, clinical leadership, and ensure smooth patient flow, effective clinical escalation, and coordinated incident response.
As a Senior Nurse Leader, you will participate in strategic planning, project development, and continuous improvement of practice standards and services. You will also be involved in rostered Executive On Call duties for after-hours and weekends.
- Lead and manage the delivery of optimal patient care through collaborative partnerships with other teams, services, and organizations.
- Support the Eastern Suburbs Mental Health Executive, Nursing Unit Managers, and Patient Flow Coordinator in daily operational activities.
- Tertiary qualifications in nursing and current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated extensive post-registration experience in mental health nursing with management experience and experience in acute mental health care.
- Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Sound knowledge of performance management and industrial relations processes.
