Job Description

Role Overview

JBWere is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Financial Planning Specialist to join our Melbourne-based Advice teams. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our Advisers in providing exceptional wealth management and investment advice to our ultra-high net worth clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive support to Advisers in managing and growing their business, ensuring efficient and smooth workflow around giving advice.
  • Assist in providing high-level client service, comprehensive reporting, and process support.
  • Work closely with Advisers to develop and implement strategic financial plans, taking into account complex structures and associated tax issues.
  • Contribute to the development of cashflow models and debt structuring, as well as entity and personal succession planning.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • Current or recent experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of strategic financial planning and wealth management.
  • Sound knowledge of SMSF specialist, superannuation strategies, and associated tax issues.
  • Ability to think critically and develop strategies for financial independence for high net worth clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Advisers, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and develop effective solutions.
