Employment Opportunity: Cleaner

">About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our school community. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to maintaining a clean and healthy environment.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets, staff rooms, offices, and communal areas
  • Dust and polish surfaces, furniture, and fixtures
  • Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
  • Refill soap, hand sanitizers, toilet paper, and other hygiene supplies
  • Deep clean specific areas during school holiday cleans or as needed
  • Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times
  • Report any repairs or hazards to the Site Manager
  • Secure the premises after cleaning e.g. locking doors, windows, checking lights and air conditioners are turned off and turning on alarms
Requirements
  • No prior cleaning experience is required but previous knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling of chemicals is preferred
  • Able to follow instructions and work independently with good time management and reliability
  • Physical ability to carry out the job e.g. lifting, bending, standing for long periods
  • Awareness of safeguarding and child protection procedures (training may be provided)
