This role is essential in ensuring the school's grounds and facilities are maintained to a high standard, enabling students to thrive in their academic and personal journeys. We're seeking an individual with excellent communication skills to join our dedicated team of professionals who work together to support a strong culture of learning.

About the Role:

This position involves carrying out a range of tasks to ensure the school's environment remains safe, secure, and welcoming for all students. You will be working closely with the Principal, Business Manager, or delegated leader to ensure seamless delivery of services and programs.

  • Support security duties at the school including using and maintaining school security systems, banking of school funds, and locking/unlocking buildings within core hours.
  • Assist with various duties such as clearing drains and gutters, collection of waste and paper on school grounds, immediate action cleaning duties outside normal operating hours, and coordinating removal/disposal of rubbish as required.
  • E nsure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements including maintenance of a safe work environment, safe storage and handling of chemicals, fertilisers and fuel, and managing equipment records.

The successful applicant will be appointed to the OO2 classification with eligibility for progression to the OO3 level once specific criteria have been met.
