Business Compliance Advisor

This is a compliance-focused position with a strong business advisory element, suitable for someone who enjoys working with corporate clients and wants to grow into more of a trusted advisor role over time.
The Senior Accountant will prepare and review compliance work for companies, trusts, and individuals, support outsourced accounting staff, and liaise with clients via phone and email.
- Preparing and reviewing compliance work for companies, trusts, and individuals
- Supporting outsourced accounting staff and reviewing their work
- Liaising with clients over phone and email—there is client contact, but it's not a business development or sales role
- Assisting with tax planning, structuring, and advisory work alongside senior team members
- General client management, queries, and ongoing relationship support
The ideal candidate has around 5 years of experience in a public practice accounting firm, a strong compliance background, and a desire to engage more with clients and step into an advisory space.
Work-Life BalanceThe firm offers flexible working arrangements, including two days of work from home per week after probation. The team has solid systems in place to support hybrid work.
