We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at Oil and Gas Job Search Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with a focus on water and wastewater infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Civil Design Deliverables: Develop and manage civil design deliverables, including engineering calculations, hydraulic/surge modeling, detailed design drawings, technical specifications, and reports.
- Project Management: Effectively manage water projects throughout their lifecycle, including liaising with clients and stakeholders, organizing design inputs, preparing and managing design schedules and cost control, and conducting site inspections and audits.
- 5 years' experience in civil engineering with a proven ability to lead and manage projects independently.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Construction Induction (White Card).
- Water and Sewerage engineering experience in pump station design, pipeline design, hydraulics/modelling, design management, planning, and feasibility studies.
- Knowledge of relevant local design codes and standards (SEQCode, WSAA, Australia Standards).
- Experience in AutoCAD, Civils3D, 12D, and Navisworks desirable.
- Experience in Hydraulic modeling - Water and Sewage reticulation, bulk-water/Surge.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to client satisfaction and attention to detail.
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage changing requirements and deadlines.
- Ability to work cooperatively and effectively within the team and the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, solve problems, manage and meet deadlines, and maintain a high quality of work.
