The Role

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Victoria. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for mentoring a team of civil engineers, collaborating with colleagues, and leading the delivery of technically accurate and cost-effective designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor a team of civil engineers and provide guidance on design and project management
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices
  • Lead the delivery of civil engineering designs for building lead projects and public domain infrastructure
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate with the team to establish workflow and support the organisation's culture of being a learning organisation

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in civil engineering projects
  • Minimum qualification of bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Excellent skills in 3D design software, including Civil 3D, Civil Site Design, and AutoCAD
  • Understanding of stormwater design to WSUD guidelines and Australian Standards
  • Ability to manage, train, and mentor engineers in the civil team
