About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Victoria. As a key member of our Civil Projects department, you will be responsible for mentoring a team of civil engineers and collaborating with colleagues across the organization to deliver high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and guide a team of civil engineers to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge, engage stakeholders, and build the Intrax brand
  • Design and deliver civil engineering projects, including roads, stormwater drainage, and public domain infrastructure
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate workflow and support the organization's culture of continuous learning
  • Lead the delivery of technically accurate, cost-effective, and optimum designs in accordance with Australian standards
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and technical improvement projects
  • Conduct site inspections and resolve on-site conditions
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience in civil engineering projects and a minimum qualification of bachelor's degree in engineering - Civil
  • Design experience in roads, stormwater drainage, and public domain infrastructure
  • Excellent skills in 3D design software, including Civil 3D, Civil Site Design, and AutoCAD
  • Understanding of stormwater design to WSUD guidelines and Australian Standards
  • Ability to manage, train, and mentor engineers in the civil team
  • Registered Building Practitioner (VIC) and/or NER is desired
