The RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Victoria. As a key member of our Projects Division, you will be responsible for mentoring a team of civil engineers, collaborating with colleagues across the organization, and delivering technically accurate and cost-effective designs.
Key Responsibilities- Mentor and develop a team of civil engineers to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge, engage stakeholders, and build the Intrax brand.
- Design and deliver civil engineering projects, including roads, stormwater drainage, and public domain infrastructure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate workflow and support the organization's culture of continuous learning.
- Lead the delivery of projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and technical improvement, and contribute to business development activities.
- 5+ years of professional experience in civil engineering projects and a minimum qualification of bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Excellent skills in 3D design software, including Civil 3D, Civil Site Design, and AutoCAD.
- Understanding of stormwater design to WSUD guidelines, including MUSIC modelling.
- Knowledge of Australian Standards, Austroads, Vic Roads, and other relevant authority standards.
- Ability to manage, train, and mentor engineers in the civil team.
