Connecting Communities through Partnerships

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our Connect to Work initiative, which aims to support people into employment across Cumbria. As part of the government's Get Britain Working strategy, this programme will drive positive change and deliver excellent public services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, VCSE organisations, education providers, health partners, and employers.
  • Ensure programme alignment with wider local strategies and policies.
  • Act as the main point of contact for programme stakeholders and partners.
  • Oversee the operational and technical integration of Connect to Work with other relevant services and programmes.
  • Contribute to programme design, implementation, and evaluation.

This is a fixed-term position available for an initial 3-year period.
