Key Role: Business Development Specialist

Delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving growth in the commercial lending market requires a strategic approach. As a dynamic fintech lender, we are committed to leveraging smart technology to provide faster, fairer loans and expanding our presence in personal lending, renewable energy, and automotive finance markets.

Responsibilities:
  • Strengthen relationships with active commercial asset finance brokers, enhancing utilisation and origination volumes through targeted strategies.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to maximise our share of wallet within the broker portfolio, ensuring brokers prioritise us for their commercial asset needs.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to identify and onboard high-potential commercial brokers, ensuring seamless integration and engagement as part of the state/territory sales strategy.
  • Work with the Business Development Manager to manage deal pipelines, ensuring brokers receive best-in-class service and that transactions progress smoothly through to settlement.
  • Engage with internal teams to support brokers, resolve issues, and enhance the overall broker experience.
About You / Qualifications:
  • 1+ years' experience in sales or finance account management, preferably in third-party intermediated channels or directly with finance brokers.
  • Strong understanding of commercial asset finance, particularly within the broker channel.
  • Demonstrated experience managing broker relationships and driving lending volume.
  • Proven ability to increase broker utilisation, share of wallet, and generate new business.
  • Ability to engage, influence, and support brokers to maximise business potential.
  • Comfortable using data to inform decisions and optimise sales performance.
