Human Resources Generalist

The role is situated in our Camberwell head-office, offering a genuine scope for career advancement within an established Human Resources team. You will work alongside experienced, passionate and supportive mentors who will provide ample scope and support for progression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offer first-level help-desk support and advice on HR processes, policies and systems
  • Coordinate the new employee onboarding process
  • Provide support to the team and employees with HR Information System processes
  • Administration of employee movement data
  • Assist Managers with processing of job changes in the HR Information System
  • Coordinate compliance reporting, including reviewing visa status, medical registrations, police checks and working with children checks etc
  • Liaise with payroll to resolve queries
  • Coordinate the review of position descriptions
  • Coordinate the Work Experience Program
  • Coordinate annual Staff Recognition process and ceremonies
  • Coordinate staff Myki Card process
  • Participate and support audit processes through reporting and data provision

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in an HR Administrator or HR Coordinator role
  • Minimum Cert III and/or IV in Human Resources
  • Demonstrated experience using an HR Information System
  • Intermediate MS Office skills
  • Prior experience in reporting analytics is advantageous
