Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled professional to assume the role of HSQE Advisor, responsible for ensuring effective implementation and maintenance of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment (HSQE) policies and standards across our operations.

The Role:

This critical position involves maintaining HSQE systems, conducting data recording, and assisting sites with compliance to Civeo's Integrated Management System (IMS). The successful candidate will also be involved in developing a positive people-based safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and implement HSQE systems and processes on-site in remote Accommodation Villages
  • Support Operations by collaborating with site Managers and Supervisors in conducting safe operations and implementing the safety management system
  • Develop, implement, and monitor safety procedures, work instructions, and processes
  • Assist in coordinating and conducting induction and HSQE training programs for staff
  • Support contractor management of high-risk works
  • Identify and assess potential hazards, ensuring that risk assessments are carried out and updated as necessary
  • Facilitate accident/incident investigations and maintain records and statistics
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSQE policies, legal, and client requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

* Certificate IV or equivalent in Workplace Health & Safety
* Ability to ensure accuracy of data entry, data analysis, reporting, and recording
* Experience with incident investigations and risk management
* Ability to build and maintain positive work relationships
* Personal standards of confidentiality, honesty, and integrity
* Current Driver's License

Desirable Qualifications:

* Internal Auditor
* Cert IV Training & Assessment
* ICAM Lead Investigator
* Experience in workforce accommodation or similar industry
* Understanding of ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 45001 OHS, and ISO 14001 Environmental
