Job Description:

The HSQE Senior Advisor role is a key position within our organization, responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment (HSQE) matters. The primary purpose of this role is to facilitate the management, coordination, and control of HSQE obligations, ensuring compliance with relevant state legislation, accreditations, and standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain HSQE systems and processes in remote Accommodation Villages.
  • Support Operations by collaborating with Operations Managers to conduct safe operations and implement safety management systems.
  • Develop campaigns and injury prevention initiatives targeting key risk areas.
  • Partner with Operations Managers to address client needs and expectations.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor safety plans, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Conduct risk management processes to aid effective decision-making and safe operations.
  • Facilitate accident/incident investigations and maintain records and statistics.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Diploma or Certificate IV in Occupational Safety & Health, as well as additional qualifications in Risk Management, Psychosocial Risk Management, Auditing, Training & Assessment, and Food Safety.

A strong understanding of WHS legislation and experience in incident investigations and implementing corrective actions are highly desirable.

You should possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, advanced computer, numeracy, and literacy skills, and experience in Quality ISO standards and environmental standards.
