We are seeking a Senior Health, Safety, Quality and Environment (HSQE) Advisor to provide expert support for our businesses. This key role will focus on facilitating the management, coordination and control of HSQE obligations, ensuring compliance with relevant state legislation, accreditations and standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining effective HSQE systems and processes in our remote Accommodation Villages. This will involve collaborating with Operations Managers to ensure safe operations and implementation of our safety management system.
This challenging role requires the ability to develop and drive HSQE campaigns and injury prevention initiatives targeting high-risk areas. The ideal candidate will also have experience in risk management, incident investigations, and developing and implementing safety plans.
In addition to technical expertise, we are looking for someone with excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as advanced computer, numeracy and literacy skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and maintain HSQE systems and processes on-site in our remote Accommodation Villages.
- Support Operations: Collaborate with Operations Managers in conducting safe operations and implementing the safety management system.
- Develop Campaigns: Drive HSQE campaigns and injury prevention initiatives targeting key risk areas.
- Risk Management: Conduct risk management processes to aid effective decision-making and safe operations.
- Incident Investigations: Facilitate accident/incident investigations and maintain records and statistics.
- Diploma or Certificate IV in Occupational Safety & Health.
- Additional qualifications in Risk Management, Psychosocial Risk Management, Auditing, Training & Assessment, and Food Safety are desirable.
- Unrestricted Australian Driver's license.
