Job Title: Maintenance and Construction Specialist
\We are seeking a dedicated and capable Maintenance and Construction Specialist to join our newly formed team. Working within a dynamic crew, you'll play a key role in delivering vital infrastructure and environmental outcomes across the region.\As a Maintenance and Construction Specialist, you'll be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a range of civil construction equipment to support the delivery of both construction and maintenance projects. You'll work closely with your supervisor, fellow team members, and subcontractors to ensure high-quality outcomes. When not operating plant equipment, you'll be actively involved in manual tasks associated with civil works, contributing to the hands-on success of our projects.\Key Responsibilities:\
  • Operate a range of plant and equipment safely and efficiently on-site – including loaders, rollers, excavators, or trucks – making sure all gear is checked, cleaned, and serviced daily.
  • Perform manual labour tasks associated with civil maintenance and construction when plant operation is not required.

  • Demonstrated experience operating machinery including back hoe, excavator, skid steer and roller
  • HR or HC license with experience in various configurations
  • Appropriate literacy and numeracy skills to allow comprehension of worksite documentation such as work method statements and quantity calculations.
  • Demonstrated sound communications skills that create positive relationships with the community and stakeholders
