Labourer Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labourer to join our team. As a Labourer, you will be responsible for completing manual handling tasks and applying skills associated with civil maintenance and construction projects.

  • This is a permanent opportunity – working full-time 38 hours / week + access to a flexible working arrangement such as a 4-day week.
Responsibilities:
  • Complete manual handling tasks and apply skills associated with civil maintenance and construction projects
  • Participate in 'toolbox' discussions
  • Complete asphalt labouring skills and civil maintenance
  • Operate small plant items such as whipper snippers, whacker packers, mowers
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Appropriate literacy and numeracy skills to allow comprehension of worksite documentation
  • Sound civil labouring skills using manual handling techniques
  • Workcover General Construction Induction accreditation or ability to obtain prior to commencement
  • Ability to attain Roads & Traffic Authority Controllers Certificate and LR Driver licence after commencement if not already possessed
