Heavy Equipment Technician

The Maintenance and Repair Team on Hamilton Island is responsible for maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment. We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team.

  • Work collaboratively with an experienced team to maintain and repair a range of heavy equipment and vehicles.
  • Determine the root cause of mechanical and electrical faults in heavy equipment and vehicles.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work to optimize operational performance and extend the lifespan of our fleet.
  • Document all work completed and spare parts used in detailed records.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Trade-qualified or equivalent experience in heavy equipment repair.
  • Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electrical faults in heavy equipment.
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of quality and safety.
  • Current open unrestricted driver's license with the ability to drive on QLD roads.
