About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tyre Fitter to join our team in Dysart, Queensland. As a Tyre Fitter, you will be responsible for the removal, fitting, and repairing of tyres, rims, and wheel assemblies on heavy mining equipment.

You will also conduct regular tyre inflation checks, adjust pressures, and report to the supervisor. Additionally, you will source technical information from manuals, bulletins, and computer systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Removing, fitting, and repairing tyres, rims, and wheel assemblies on heavy mining equipment
  • Conducting regular tyre inflation checks, adjusting pressures, and reporting to the supervisor
  • Sourcing technical information from manuals, bulletins, and computer systems

Other key aspects of the role include taking proactive measures to prevent equipment non-conformance and addressing quality issues.

The successful candidate will possess a Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Service Technology or equivalent, as well as a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Tyre Fitter.

Desirable qualifications include experience in the mining, heavy earthmoving, or hydraulic excavator industry, and holding a HR driver's license.
