Our workshop is looking for an experienced and skilled technician to join our team. As a Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our fleet.
- Maintain, service and repair heavy vehicles and machinery to ensure operational readiness.
- Diagnose faults and prevent breakdowns to reduce downtime.
- Support compliance with safety and regulatory standards across the fleet.
We are seeking a reliable and experienced mechanic with excellent fault-finding ability, strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset. You should have an Australian recognised trade qualification and minimum 4 years' post-trade experience with hands-on experience with heavy vehicles including buses, trucks, cranes, earthmoving plant and generating equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out routine maintenance tasks on heavy vehicles and machinery.
- Identify and diagnose faults using technical knowledge and diagnostic tools.
- Repair and replace faulty components to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency.
- Perform scheduled services and inspections to maintain vehicle condition.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve workshop goals and targets.
