Job Title: Tyre Fitter

A skilled and experienced Tyre Fitter is required to perform a variety of tasks related to tyre maintenance and replacement on heavy earthmoving mining equipment.

  • Remove and fit rims and wheel assemblies as required, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular tyre inflation pressure checks and adjust as necessary.
  • Source technical information from reference manuals and computer-based systems to ensure accurate diagnosis and repair of tyre-related issues.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to identify and implement solutions for preventing equipment non-conformance and quality problems.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years' experience working as a Tyre Fitter in open cut mining environments.
  • Certification in Automotive Tyre Servicing (AUR21920) or equivalent qualifications.
  • Current Driver's Licence and valid Standard 11 certification.
