Workshop Operations Manager

The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong track record of leading workshop teams to achieve excellent productivity, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include managing daily tasks, prioritizing repair orders, assisting with technical problem-solving, notifying the service team of additional work required and ensuring all work is completed correctly in accordance with warranty procedures.
This is a key leadership role within our busy workshop, working closely with the Service Adviser Team to deliver exceptional results.
- Oversee daily operations of the workshop, ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with technicians to prioritize repair orders and ensure timely completion.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and implementing solutions.
- Notify the Service Adviser Team of any additional work required.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and warranty procedures.
- Monitor and maintain equipment and tools, adhering to safety protocols.
About You:
- Australian work rights.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Relevant trade qualifications.
- A current driver's licence.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to motivate and lead a high-performing team.
- Demonstrated ability to follow Work, Health and Safety policies and procedures.
