Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled leader to manage our workshop operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and maintenance.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing day-to-day workshop activities, motivating a team of skilled mechanics, and driving continuous improvement in all workshop practices.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of mechanics to achieve exceptional service standards.
  • Ensure effective management of workshop resources, including personnel, equipment, and facilities.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and innovation within the workshop.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to support business decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent qualification).
  • Minimum Medium Rigid (MR) licence.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with a strong track record of influencing positive work cultures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
