Job Description:
- The role is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of learning strategies for nursing and support staff. The manager collaborates with the director to identify education needs that align with Calvary's Clinical Services Plan, NSQHS Standards, and National Education and Training Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify specific learning requirements through annual education needs analysis.
- Ensure educational activities are identified, meeting customer needs and expectations.
- Maintain current knowledge of best practice in nursing and healthcare.
- Coordinate evidence-based educational activities to meet quality initiatives.
- Manage the education team to meet budget targets.
- Facilitate staff compliance with mandatory training requirements.
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA registration and practising certificate.
- Minimum Certificate 3 in Training and Assessment.
- Experience in leadership roles.
