Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Production Operations Specialist to join our team in Lara. This role involves the safe and compliant receival of raw materials and premixes, monitoring and controlling production of finished products, and ensuring efficient packing and labelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory management and reporting
  • Stocktaking as required
  • Operating a raw material receival computerised production line
  • Maintaining plant and equipment to meet specified standards and ensuring they are in safe working condition
  • Completing all Raw Material testing requirements as per site procedures
  • S4 allocation and premix addition accuracy and reconciliation
  • Identifying and reporting non-conformances as per site process
  • Unloading transport vehicles including finished feed, raw materials, premix and additives as per site standards

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • Understanding of site HACCP Plan
  • Understanding of site safety Policies and Procedures
  • Knowledge of OH&S and Environmental Policies and Legislation
  • Sound computing skills
  • Forklift driver licence (desirable)
  • Cert 4 competitive systems (desirable)
