Senior Finance Leader Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Senior Finance Leader to oversee our Freight Forwarding division.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to take on a leadership role, driving financial performance and growth through strategic planning and process optimization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring financial performance, developing and implementing standards and procedures, and supporting pricing and margin optimisation through data-driven analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor financial performance and profitability by service lines, ensuring optimal results.
  • Develop and implement standards, procedures, internal controls, and processes to maintain compliance and drive growth.
  • Support pricing and margin optimisation for freight forwarding services through data-driven analysis.
  • Prepare monthly financial and management accounts to inform business decisions.
  • Oversee working capital, including receivables, payables, and cash flow optimisation, to ensure efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to understand shipment billing, carrier costs, insurance, consolidation/deconsolidation, and customs charges.
  • Lead finance transformation initiatives, implementing ERP systems, automation, and analytics tools to drive business efficiency.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Ops, Sales, Customs, and Commercial teams to forecast, control costs, and discuss pricing strategies.

Responsibilities also include overseeing quarterly forecasts and yearly budgeting processes, leading and mentoring finance professionals, and promoting performance and succession within the team.

Requirements
  • Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) or equivalent certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 7-10 years of experience in finance, preferably within multinational companies.
  • Strong analytical skills, budgeting expertise, and business partnering abilities.
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS, financial standards, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Oracle Fusion.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with strong commercial acumen and leadership qualities.
