The Event Coordinator and Business Operations Specialist will play a key role in supporting the First Peoples Employment and Development Branch by providing administrative support services, planning and delivering events, and coordinating business operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the First Peoples Employment and Development Branch
  • Plan and deliver events for Aboriginal staff networks
  • Contribute to the core function of the First Peoples Employment and Development team by providing business support and events coordination

 

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in event management is mandatory
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of current challenges, issues, opportunities and community aspirations amongst Aboriginal Victorian communities
  • Experience in building networks with Aboriginal people living in Victoria, using knowledge of cultural and communication sensitivities

 

Work Environment:

This position offers an ongoing opportunity. Hybrid work arrangements are available with flexible work locations.
