Job Description

This role is responsible for the daily management and maintenance of our Citrix environments. As a key member of our Technical Services team, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the performance and reliability of our on-premise infrastructure and hybrid cloud resources.

Key responsibilities include monitoring, patching, performance tuning, and health checks of the Citrix environment, identifying and resolving Citrix-related issues for end-users and IT teams, collaborating with other IT teams to ensure a cohesive and stable IT environment, maintaining accurate documentation of Citrix environments, configurations, and changes, and staying up-to-date with the latest Citrix technologies, features, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience supporting Citrix DaaS/Virtual Apps and Desktops environments (administration, configuration, daily maintenance, and troubleshooting)
  • Experience with SCCM and Windows 10/11 image provisioning for AWS WorkSpaces Core and Citrix MCS deployments
  • Proficiency in maintaining user profile management solutions (Citrix UPM, CPM, Microsoft FSLogix)
  • Strong Windows Server Systems Administration skills, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Patch Management (WSUS/SCCM)
  • Proficient in scripting and automation tools, particularly PowerShell
  • Experience with Microsoft Server 2016, 2019, 2022, and Windows 10
  • Ability to manage virtual environments using VMware vSphere, AWS WorkSpaces Core, and EC2
  • Proven experience providing 3rd level support for Citrix-related issues, including documentation and direct engagement with Citrix support
