Swinburne University of Technology is pleased to announce three fully funded 3-year PhD scholarships in Public Health and Health Services, offered through the Centre for Global Health and Equity.Project Overview
The Centre seeks passionate individuals to join a team at the cutting-edge of public health research, dedicated to generating transformative research initiatives that enhance health and equity both in Australia and globally.Research Topics
Three scholarships are available, each focusing on a different aspect of health literacy development:1. Health Literacy Development: Evaluation and Scale-up
This project will evaluate the first 10 years of the implementation of the Ophelia process, using contemporary evaluation techniques, including quantitative and qualitative methods and Realist Synthesis.2. Health Literacy Development: Advancing Measurement and Impact
This project will systematically review validity evidence of health literacy development questionnaires, providing global stakeholders with comprehensive evidence of their use and potential impact.3. Health Literacy Development: Advancing Public Health Intervention Development at Scale
This project will uncover new ways to understand and document the connections between program processes and effects using cultural, linguistic, qualitative, and quantitative research methods.Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:- A bachelor's degree honours and/or a research master's degree in a discipline relevant to the research topic (or equivalent)
