Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a case load and implement interventions to achieve optimal recovery and return to work outcomes for injured workers.
- Apply advanced claims, injury, and return to work management skills to achieve successful outcomes.
- Provide strategic and operational support to case managers through mentorship and development activities.
- Lead and deliver cohort-based claims strategies at Team and Practice Group levels.
- Take on lead claims management responsibility for platinum and complex customers.
- Lead portfolio responsibilities to support delivery of specific contractual obligations.
Requirements:
- Significant claims management experience in the Victorian workers' compensation scheme.
- Knowledge of medical and paramedical terminology and procedures, including forms of treatment applicable to injuries.
- Strong working knowledge of the Workplace Injury and Rehabilitation Act 2015 & associated regulations.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of ACCtion and Novus.
