Ministry Leadership Opportunity

Lanyon Valley Anglican Church is seeking a dedicated individual to serve in the role of Assistant Minister. This full-time position involves equipping members of our church community to grow in their ministry and service, developing structures for growth, and investing in the vision and mission of the church.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Enabling members to grow in Christ through equipping and developing ministry and service
  • Providing general ministry leadership and pastoral support, aligned with the Senior Minister's guidance
  • Investing in the church's vision and mission, encompassing congregations, groups, and partnerships
  • Engaging beyond the local church, within the Diocesan network or other Christian networks across Canberra
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Strong faith and commitment to serving the church
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement effective ministry strategies
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to work with the Senior Minister and other church leaders
